New York Ducks - Help!

While I have lived in NY for several years now, I haven't made it out to shoot those mallards yet. In part, because I just don't know where to find public ground I can shoot on. I've tried to research it but can't find much. Any suggestions where to hunt or look?

chilly willy...welcome to the site. you should try talking to the local gamewardens/conservation officers in different areas of your state...also check your state game homepage for public land available.

I live in WNY and love to hunt birds...... Where do you live in NY? I hunt with my dogs just about ever weekend... I have several friends that I normally hunt with but we would be glad to have another..
