New Mexico Deadline to apply

Tomorrow at noon is the deadline to apply for elk in New Mexico. I got my applications in the mail today. I think that you can still apply online with a credit card. Good luck and remember this year you have to apply for deer hunting in New Mexico .

I didn't apply this year - while I'd like to go back, I really want a mule deer, so I am trying Colorado. If I could get back to the same spot in Unit 13, now blocked off by the Double H ranch, I saw some really huge bucks. I may have to take up riding a horse....

I do know where a really big bull hangs out with his harem in an isolated ridge of cover, though. I may have to go back after him next year.
