New to the group and love it so far!
I lucked out and drew the 2nd season bow in 6A. I've been doing as much e scouting as my eyes can handle and still seem to be scratching my head a bit. It appears to be a road running every ridge in the unit, so getting a mile or so away looks to be impossible unless you hike into the wilderness area (which I'm starting to lean toward). Or am I overthinking the spaghetti bowl of roads I'm seeing on my onX.

Coming from Oregon, I would normally get out there and scout the unit first, but with the circumstances right now it doesn't look like that's going to happen.

Thank you so much guys!

Hi, I'll message you some info about the area. There are a lot of roads, for sure.

I hunted the muzzleloader season there last year, worked my butt off to get away from all those roads. But this wasn't because the elk don't hang out near roads in the unit. A lack of confidence in my calling ability motivated me to avoid other hunters
