I'm from California, hunting for 30+ yrs. First time hunting out of state to Wyoming. My question is validating your harvest. Is it mandatory? Do I have to go find a warden to validate my game?
make sure you have the conservation stamp (printed out at home) signed and with your licenses.
Also, there are 3 places to sign your license/carcass tag;
1, the license portion before you hit the field,
2, the carcass tag at time of take,
3, the LO coupon at time of take if on pvt/walk-in/hma.
The only way your have to have your game checked is if you pass a check station while out and about or traveling to or from your hunting area.
Hunters must stop even if no game has been taken.
