New in Eastern Oregon

Just found the forum and joined up! Been hunting western Oregon for years, only recently moved back to Eastern Oregon. Definitely different over here, looking forward to getting out and exploring the hunting opportunities.

I'm counting the hours until I'm driving through LaGrande on my way to join my dad and uncle in elk camp. Only regret is that Kaufman's Market will be closed, and I won't be able to get any of their sweet Lebanon bologna and and sliced cheeses to take to camp.

One of the best reasons to live in the Grande Ronde Valley is Kaufmans. We stop there often. Good luck on elk.

Welcome to the dry side. It is recommended to roll around in sage brush to get rid of the west side mold growing on your back.
