New House guest

My wife took this picture the other day while I was at work.



This guy was about 20 yards from the patio door stareing down my new brittany pup. He stayed there for about 5 minutes. After he left, she let Gunner out and he went crazy. This weekend we got woken up by two coyotes going crazy outside the window. Our place butts up to BLM and I think we might have a den nearby. We see both of them quite regularly but this is the closest either has gotten.

I'd say its time to get a little house warming gift for the new guest. About .223 should do. Although where I live I use a 12 gauge 'cause there's too many houses around.

I'm guessing they get closer at night, we get coyotes on the back porch fairly often, if we leave dog food out or if the BBQ still has a lot of scent left, the coyotes come right on in. That's a cool photo by the way.

Watch your dogs, and use common sense. Get em this fall. Everything needs a time to reproduce. I like coyotes. Worthy opponents.

They will kill your dog. I would eliminate them.
