Thought I'd stop in and introduce myself. Currently in Omaha, but grew up in Colorado. Grew up hunting upland birds and waterfowl. Never did much big game hunting, but I've always wanted to.
Got turned onto the site by way of the Hunt Talk podcast. I'm particularly charged by the situation with our public lands. I want to thank Randy for continuing to bring this issue to the forefront. And yes, I now want to know how I can further get involved. I can't imagine what my childhood had been had I not had the public lands to chase those birds on.
Also hope to learn much more about DIY Public Land big game hunts, and what it takes to be successful.
