Long time lurker, I figured it was time to join and actually contribute something to this community.
I grew up hunting whitetails, squirrels and ducks, and fishing in MO. When I got out of the Army I went on my first western hunt with my dad, brother, and cousin to celebrate. We all got nice WY antelope bucks and some does too. Ever since then, hunting consumes a lot of my thinking.
After a few years of moving around building my resume, I spent two years in FL hunting gators, turkeys, hogs and squirrels. Now I live in south central ID. I've got a muzzy elk tag and some deer tags this year and I'm excited to hit the mountains.
I still have a lot to learn about western hunting and last year I started trapping too. I'm always looking for hunting or trapping mentors, or a buddy to go with.
