New Dog

Well my 4 year old lab died last winter from an intestinal blockage. It was a tough blow, since he was pretty much my nest friend. He was also one of the best duck dogs I've ever seen, tough as nails and all heart. Well I decided to get an older dog so I would be able to hunt this fall. I picked up this joker in Wasilla last June. He was 8 months when I got him and about the only thing he knew was his name (Bubba). Well that meant I had to train him (and untrain him) from the bottom, not to mention keep that God awful name.
Anyway, its been a crazy summer and time has been limited. I feel bad for not giving him the time I should have, but he seems to have caught on anyway.

Nice looking duck catcher you have there TB. I had only seen one Harliquin in my life before my trip in September. Wish I could have gone later and brought my duck catcher. Thanks for the pics.
