New Bolt Action Rifle Recommendations

I've had a few Bergara's and they've always shot well. Picky sometimes, but never difficult to find factory ammo that was sub moa.

$1,000 for the whole setup or just the rifle? I've heard nothing but good things about tikka, grew up on winchester model 70, rem 700 and marlin. Having said that I traded in a Weatherby Vanguard that wouldn't hold groups for a Seekins PH2 in 7mm Rem Mag and it was well worth it.

Of the choices provided, I'd go Remington. I have a bunch of them, and they all shoot great. I get a Timney trigger installed right off the bat, regardless of when they were made.
As others have said, Tikka T3 is also very hard to beat and checks all your boxes. I've had a number of Browning's over the years and about half shot good and the others didn't. I've never had a Savage, but my wife has had a few. They all shot very good but to me they don't look all that great.

Rifle itself for less than $1000. I have a Swaro Z6 that I recently picked up waiting to be mounted, haha.

It’s this model Savage, 14 American Classic. I hear it’s like a nicer looking 110.

I would get a tikka or if you’re like me when I go to the local gun store, I keep eye balling a Win Model 70 extreme weather in 6.5 prc that keeps jumping out to me on the used rack for $1,300 which is a deal in my opinion.

With a mod 70 theres no need to buy a timney, adjustable down to your hearts content. They got the stock right, the barrel is about 23 1/2 or 24 inches long which suits my 300 wsm cal, i dont use a muffler or sandblaster on, it spreads the recoil very well. I use 200 gr projectiles with no problems even after firing 10 shots to bring down a large branch.
