T-Minus 28 days till i'm on the road to another velvet buck. Hopefully anyway! Just weighed the pack goats yesterday, my lead goat Mr. Black is running 221lbs, Mr. Buck is 196, Mr. Bill is 167, and Prince is 169. I will only take 3 of them on this trip. Can't wait to get them out in the mtns. of NV. I will hopefully have some service here and there to make another live hunt thread. Hopefully it will go as well as the hunt a few years ago and get one opening day on my first stalk and be a 200" deer..... LOL, probably not though. Who else is headed out of state and counting the days down?

Sounds great. How much weight do you pack on an animal?

Full grown I do 30% of there body weight, going in though they are lighter than 30%, on the way out if I harvest is when the 30% come's into play.

With the deer you shoot you better take a few more animals with you for only 30% ;cool:
