Anyone figure out the best way to carry a rifle with this pack?

Check out the side compression straps or you can use the Overload shelf feature to secure a rifle at a diagonal. (I am assuming you are wanting to carry it w/o a sling, and securely lashed to the pack....)

If it's just while hunting, I use a pro-defense gun slinger. It's cheap and works. Not completely hands free like a gunbearer is but it does the job for 90% of my hunting for $15.
