I am headed out from FL to scout/hunt the Missouri Breaks units in about a month (I drew the anterless tag). I have never hunted the breaks. Any tips on location or timing within the rifle season would be appreciated.
There are elk in every draw, and they don't migrate like in a lot of other elk country. You should have little problem finding a cow during the rifle season.
