Mounts/bases for Weatherby Vanguard

Are bases for a Rem 700 going to fit a weatherby Vanguard? I thought I saw something along those lines posted somewhere.

What recommendations do you all have for a 240 weatherby.

I took a set of talley lightweights off my Howa and put them on a Rem 700. Howa is the same as the Vanguard so should work. I like the Talley one piece mounts. Just eliminates a step in mounting and I've never had to make major windage adjustments.

I second the Talley lightweights. Had them on my Vanguard .300 Win since day one and couldn't be happier.

Rem 700 bases are interchangeable with some Weatherbys and IIRC some Savage rifles as well.
