Life long outdoorsman who's learning more about hunting in the mountains every yr. Found this site from Randy's podcast. I'm in Evergreen if anyone is nearby. If you can pull a tag for it in the state I plan to hunt it before my tag gets punched.

welcome from the Springs via K-Town Germany!! I have been in CO since 09 and so far I am at Muley, pronghorn, elk and geese....trying to work my way through to.

Yeah so far I've got muley, rabbit, and buckets of squirrels. Really hope to connect with an elk this yr. Ice fishing has been good to me as well. I miss the big fat squirrels we had in Indiana. Really miss coyote hunting too. Hope to do that out here maybe even snag a bobcat.

When I lived out there the elk used to come through Evergreen like herds of cows. My kids learned to ice skate on the lake there. Had lots of fun in Evergreen.

Yeah. When we moved in the neighbors told us how much the elk liked our yard. They weren't kidding. I've got pictures of over 100 bedded down. Got some really cool footage of bulls squaring off too.
