It's still winter here 2-3' of snow. And we still have moose cruising threw. We had a bull headed for a discussion with our Chesapeake a couple days ago that I was able to abort. Yesterday it was a cow. Had 3 a few days back.
I'm not batching, I enjoy seeing them. But it's dangerous. They are stressed after the winter, dogs barking, chasing. Folks. We respect their space n leave em be.
Sure can be a jolt though when you come around a corner n your next to a cranky moose.
BTW they are all looking like they are in great shape physically. Cows are looking a bit larger in the belly
