Good morning to my new friends,
I have been one of the fortunate to draw a late season moose tag in Unit 2 of Northern Idaho. While I am a seasoned hunter of deer and elk and have been along on a couple of moose hunts I am somewhat a novice when it comes to moose hunting. I am not familiar with this unit but understand it to be a quality moose unit and with the opportunity to harvest a good trophy Shiras moose.
Can anyone give me some tips to good areas to concentrate my hunt? I have arranged to have time off for the entire season so I am not pushed for time and can change strategies and areas if needed. I know this is post rut and that changes the game, I would appreciate tips and ideas on strategy as well. Thank you for your time.
