Montana Deer Season; “Back in the Saddle”

I’ve been hunting for most of my life and have shot two deer the first two years I was able to hunt. Since then I’ve been busy with life so this year was the first year I could go out and apply all I’ve been learning about hunting since then. So far, I’ve been able to fill my Regional Whitetail doe permit and was able to fill my General Tag just before end of shooting light tonight. Now for those pesky elk!

Glad to see somebody is doing well it's been a slow grind here for me this year gonna get out for some mid week hunts this week to beat the crowds and up my odds a bit

Finished the euro mount for the buck today. First time ever getting a euro mount and I did it myself. Definitely learned a few lessons but it turned out pretty decent! Will definitely be doing this going forward.
