Hey there. I found this website a few weeks ago and really enjoyed all the stories and great pictures. I didnt realize that there was a bear junkie hangout! So I thought I should share some of my pictures from this spring. I spotted and tracked this bear earlier in the season during a blizzard and couldnt keep up with him. Well after 3 weeks time, and 5 different morning/and or evenings and 4 lesser bears I found him right in this same spot! One of my best bears to date and most memorable. I shot him at daylight and went back to town and woke my wife and daughter. That was the best part of it all!

Very nice bear. Congrats on the family recovery and welcome aboard.

Great black bear--bigger than either of mine that I took in B.C. many years ago!

Nice Bear! Good to have another guy from Montana on here.

Thanks guys, glad to tune in. It was a fun spring and I am glad I ended up catching up with this old boy. Im guessing he is at least ten years old maybe older. Spring 2008 I shot a cinnamon bear almost identical size, in length, girth and skull measurements and that bear was aged at 14. I just sent a tooth in to the lab along with some friends bears from this year to get aged. Some mtfwp regions don't pull a teeth anymore so if you want to age them you have to pay for it yourself. Oh well worth it to me.
