Montana bear units

I’ve been researching spring bear and ended up printing two maps from fish and game. One showing unit 400, and the other showing units 411, 420, etc. Just curious as to when this changed and why. I know these units on the newer map are quota units. I also noticed that harvest stats from 2024 list unit 400. Thanks for the insight.

At the end of last fall season, MT decided that they needed to split up region 4 into multiple units, and each of those units have their own separate quota
