I felt sorry for the big ol' bull I was going to kill, so I worked today instead.

Plenty of critters, but unfortunately I didn't see any I had a tag for. Chasing antelope tomorrow and then back after elk/deer on Monday.

I got 8 yards from a small group of deer ( 2 fawns and a doe). I decided to hold off for a lone doe later in the year. It was fun to get out and put on a stalk though for sure. Watched them for about 20-30 minutes that close before they got up and finally saw I was there. Great way to start the season.

I filled a 260 whitetail doe tag tonight, sweat my butt off in a tree stand and whacked her at 20 yards, fun to do a little blood trailing and dragging.
