Moldy Backpacks

Afternoon all. I recently discovered that a bladder of mine was leaking and I now have 2 upland bird vest packs with mold. Any tips on how to get rid of the mold and save the packs?

I've had good luck with McNett MiraZyme, which is now called "Odor Eliminator". If it's to the point of structurally damaging the material you may be SOL.

I've hard pretty good luck using oxyclean and boiling water, then repetitive washing with extra soda (laundry or baking) added. But it's never been super bad.

Afternoon all. I recently discovered that a bladder of mine was leaking and I now have 2 upland bird vest packs with mold. Any tips on how to get rid of the mold and save the packs?

Rinse it out with clean water and scrub out any visible moldy bits and then scrub it well with a vinegar soaked rag. Repeat as needed. Rinse with clean water and let air dry, preferably turned inside out and in the sun. That has worked for me.
