Not sure why he is so proud that he paid $20 for his. Mine was free, came with the birthday suit. And what does he mean by "The flex just lets you get into all those tight spots and get a nice clean bone!"

Why would anyone buy a knife with a handle wrapped in paracord?

I can only imagine how slick and stinky that must get after a full dunk in a bloody chest cavity.

I have a MKC (given to me), older Benchmade and a Havalon. I actually really like the MKC paracord grip wrap. Have never had an issue with it getting stinky.
With that being said, my Havalon is still my favorite.

I won’t be buying any of the new influencer knives - I have more than a dozen customs. Todd Orr’s are among the best and most used by me. And I do carry a little Old Timer at all times. I wasn’t bullshitting.

I have never understood the fascination with expensive knives. They’re just another tool to do a job. I still have a cheap coleman knife that my dad gave me for Christmas when I was 8, almost 40 years and nearly 4 digits worth of wild hogs and deer later it’s still my go to. I probably have 100 or more other knives, some fairly expensive, but most were give aways - and most of those I’ve given to my son. I still pull out the Coleman most of the time. On western hunts I take a havalon and change out the under $1 blade and call it good.

Why on earth would someone buy an expensive knife with a crap handle wrapped up in paracord like one of my kids sub-par elementary school projects?

I’m not even sure how many knives I have in my knife box, maybe 40? I found about half of them, bought maybe 5 and the rest have been gifts. None are truly expensive but they all do what they’re supposed to
