Saskatchewan is known for whitetail deer but what did the publicity of a world record do to the Biggar area? Was that specific area known before. 35 years later has the pressure wained or are there still Nonresidents flocking to the area to kill the next world record?

Kidding of course. But it is a buck that has stood for quite a while. He made a decent amount of money off of it as well

Non residents must be guided through an outfitter and as far as I know there are no WT outfitters that way. I'd say pressure has remained the same, biggest difference is that we went from legal to hunt unposted private land without permission, to requiring permission in the past few years. Roughly same amount of hunters but centralized on the few accessible spots. Also, the majority of Sk hunters road hunt which is how Milo shot his buck.

Our herd has gotten the shit kicked out of it, this past year has been my worst season to date and first time I don't fill a WT tag in probably 15 years... This winter's been pretty mild so let's hope the WT rebound and that the big boys make a comeback!

Chuck is still hunting and taking trophy game animals. He is an archery legend. And yes many (probably most) of his big elk were private land Cheeto eaters but he hunted ethically and respectfully and is the definition of a true archer. If more hunters were like him we would have way less problems in the hunting world than we currently do. Your comment sucked. Do better
