I always respected the way in which he carried himself, and respected his world record.

I think Chuck worked his ass if for most of the animals that he killed. Some of the huge elk towards the end of his career were on ranches in The Breaks, but who wouldn’t hunt those bulls given the chance?

The thought of a farmer doing deer drives with his neighbors and friends resonates back to me when I was young.

Saskatchewan is known for whitetail deer but what did the publicity of a world record do to the Biggar area? Was that specific area known before. 35 years later has the pressure wained or are there still Nonresidents flocking to the area to kill the next world record?
