Looking for 300 WM bullet recomendations

The 200AB is absolute standard in 300WM. Accurate, great terminal performance. I have killed a lot of critters with it. I think the Savage 110 has magazine COAL capacity of 3.4" which can limit longer heavier bullets which would be seated down into case.

I wouldn't overlook the Hammer 172HBC, it has a G7 of .273 and is a rocket in my Sendero 300WM 26" 1:10 at 3350fps. I use 2,000fps as my personal lower impact velocity limit and 2,000 ftlbs as my minimum for elk. Not right not wrong just my decision. At 800' elevation the 172 checks my boxes out to 650yds which is fine for me. At higher elevations, it will stretch out farther.

I think I could go a little longer as far as the lands goes, but 3.4 is the max for my factory magazine.

Regardless of bullet 6-800 yards is getting into questionable territory unless you're a world class wind reader. 215 berger or 212 ELD are a couple that make sense at mitigating wind deflection but your mag length is about 0.200" short of where you want it for those bullets.

I really like the 175gr Barnes LRX, very accurate load for me. A friend gave me some Nosler 190gr ABLR to try. Very accurate in his 300WM, so I'll give them a go next range session.
