Hey ya'll,

I started a blog a little while ago and have been hesitant to share it places, because it's sometimes hard to put yourself out there you know? Anyways, I'm being encouraged to share it with people, so here we go. Would love for you to take a click! Thanks so much and have a great day.

I know

I know what you are all thinking, oh he's just doing self promotion, but honestly this isn't a site you just Google and post stuff to. If you care to read, I hope that you'll find I'm trying to step outside of all my boxes, which is why it is The Outdoorsman: A Story of Becoming. Becoming what? I'm not exactly sure, but more than anything, a better person, a better husband, a better father, especially better than my father. So if you aren't into it, that's cool, it's not your thing, but if you are, I greatly appreciate it. Thanks so much.

I've listened to every podcast Randy has ever put out... I was led to him a while ago, but started paying much closer attention after Steven Rinella promoted his platform. If you don't want to check it out, that's okay, but I encourage you to at least give it a chance. Thanks man.

Welcome to the forum. We all like to read good writing and appreciate when people get involved in this online community. Post up your thoughts, stories of your hunts, pictures are always enjoyed. It's a great crowd for the most part.

But the new poster that appears on the scene, puts up a weblink to his blog or webpage to generate traffic is for the most part ignored. They come.... and then they are gone, usually without any other contributions to this site than their original solicitation to come look at their product. Nobody misses them.

Guys that hang around and participate and contribute tend to gain some credibility.

Thanks Gerald. I'll keep at it and definitely will start contributing. Appreciate the insight!
