Locating Elk

Looking for any information or locations for Elk in until E3 for ND. I am a new college student and so far have been out looking/hunting from Friday to Monday every week since opening day. Sadly, I have not been able to get an Elk. I have talked with many ranchers and others hunters, but many do not want to seem to talk. I have an Any Elk rifle tag, the once in a lifetime tag for ND. I can hunt in E3, E4, and E5. If you have any information or leads that would be amazing, or we would even be interested in hiring a guide. I am not sure what to do at this point. I have done research on how they act and what they like, but seems like I am always wrong. Just looking for some help, that's all.

All I can tell you is the OnX elk distribution layer looks like E3 is your best bet. It shows that there isn’t a wide distribution in those units but E3 is best. Good luck with your tag!

Unfortunately the tag is so uncommon you'll probably have trouble finding information here. Maybe contact the game warden for your hunt area. And keep your faith. You can do this man.

PM sent, I will also check with a buddy that lives out there to see if he knows anything. I have friends deer hunting out there right now and I will ask them to let me know if they see any.
