loading for the H&R Handi Rfle 280

Going to be working up a load for my H&R Handi Rifle in 280 Remington. Topping the rifle with either a VX-I or bushnell 3200 Elite in 3-9x40 . rifle will be a back up travel rifle if I get accuracy where I want it.
Anyone ever hand load for these rifles? Powder/bullet sugjestions.
