My dad and I are headed to Colorado in a week. Saw some reports that there is a lot of snow in the flattops wilderness. We were planning on backpacking in and camping back in 4-5 miles. Just wondering if there are any boots on the ground that has any info they would be willing to share. We are willing to change our plan if need be. I just want him to have a good time and see an elk. Thanks gyms for any info you are willing to share, we will be driving from NY on 11/1.
