Leupold 2.5-8x36 still worth it?

I have one on my Ruger 77 that I bought around 1977. It still retains zero, and I have never had to make any major sight adjustments over the years other than when changing the ammo and confirming zero for the new ammo. The scope is rock solid.

I have that scope on my 350 legend and it’s awesome! Perfect fit IMO for under 200 yard whitetail gun.
