LDS Tax Division Land

So I hunt an area with some LDS Tax Division-owned land in the area. They run a scout camp on some of this area, and it's open for public access. There are trails that are maintained for public use as well in this area on the LDS Tax Division land, so my question is this: what is the deal with LDS Tax Division lands? I have always treated it as private, but this area seems to be open for public use. Thanks!

Ask your bishop!
I would imagine they would not want hunting in the area close to the camp if there are campers on site.
