Late season dove in Arizona

Hello, spent some time learning about the dove hunting in Arizona on the opener and looks like a blast! How is the hunting on public land in the late season? Namely early Jan? Is it worth making a trip from out of state? Any tips appreciated! Thanks

Nothing like 01 Sept. Haven't hunted late but don't see the huge numbers late. If I was going to hunt late season, I would hunt earlier in the second season. You need to find concentrated food near water and roosting. You might be able to find Eurasians in good numbers but the problem is they are usually within 1/4 mile of populated structure.
