Last minute hunts/Cancelations for AK pilots

Who am I missing to reach out to for getting on a last minute list that is top notch at what they do for flying in hunters for Caribou or Moose?

My past research had assembled Tok, Arrowhead, 40 mile air and Golden Eagle. I've sent requests to all of them and got on a short line at Arrowhead already and a much longer line at Tok and 40 mile air.

Tok messaged me that he now has an opening next year.

Anyone fly with Zack for moose and not caribou in unit 12 or eastern 20? For a cancellation hunt this year we were game for anything but if going to plan for next year, the preference would be to do a ridge drop camp moose hunt.

That is a lot of area to narrow down and anyone have experience with Zack on area selection as just an air taxi? Any advice on how to narrow it down as I'm going to have to research and pick a spot myself?

I always flew out with 40 Mile, never flew with Zack. I saw a YouTube hunt from 2 to 3 years ago where he dropped some guys who got a nice bull. If you could find the video, maybe you could connect with them and ask some questions about potential spots and flying with Tok Air. Best of luck to you!

Might consider taking a boat on the Yukon vs flying/dropped. Mobility vs confined to a mile or so from camp. Rented a boat out of Galena then to our unit, lots of rivers and sloughs to hunt.
