Kuiu bino harness

Anybody using the Kuiu Pro G3 bino harness ? Wife got me a Marsupial with the magnetic closure and the lid wont close completely when the eyecups are extended on my Swarovski el 10x42 binos. So I need a new one. Don’t want Marsupial since I wasn’t pleased with the customer service. Possibly AGC Ravus, but Kuiu looks pretty good. Thanks

I love my Kuiu bino harness, had several before it. Got really messed up with onX and a badlands pack with a magnet in it one day, won't happen to me again, no magnets in the Kuiu.

Have a couple buddies with the kuiu harness and they have no complaints. Other ones worth looking at are FHF or Stone Glacier.

Your phone and OnX use satellites and not any sort of magnetic field. Only thing a magnet will affect is an old fashion compass.

Hey, just so you know, you are incorrect there. There is a compass in your phone which OnX makes use of in addition to GPS.

I miss read what you said I edited it. I thought you were saying location which is gps. But yes navigation you're 100% correct. My apologies.

Love my AGC! Lay out what you want to put in the harness (besides binocs) and make sure the other pockets will hold that stuff. That is what separates harnesses in my mind.

I've been happy with the comfort and minimalism of the first couple gens of kuiu harnesses but the top straps connect directly to the binos which is annoying for tripod use and an assortment of other situations. Wondering if I need the larger one for Sig kilo 10k binos or if the smaller one would work.. Needed the larger one on prior versions for my RF binos and 12x50 swaros.

Understand not being pleased w MG customer service.

FWIW, i now use a no-mag marsupial harness w 8.5x42 EL and they just barely fit. I do (and always have) liked the MG harness...slim, comfortable, and I attach it directly to my backpack harness...the magnet and compass interference was the major downside.

If form factor is the same for the 10x ELs the no-mag MG could be an option, but again, if theyre giving you a hard time and not allowing an exchange then I understand trying a different company

Yes used it last year. Awesome. Better than the original with added rangefinder etc. Is large so depends on wife's frame. It more of a wrap around. Not sure how it may fit some women.

I ordered a Kuiu G3 as well. I'm sure it's fine if the nockers fit it, the sig kilo 10ks are just thick bottom to top so that fit might be a bit odd. Height and width should be fine.

Just got the Kuiu today and it’s really nice. Binos fit good with pads to adjust height, being able to attach gear is nice and it comes with an ammo holder on the slide lock. Definitely the way to go

Is the front pocket useable? I tried a gen 2 and even using pliers I couldn’t get the front pocket open all the way

Yes it is, but not super big. One of the first things I checked. Maybe put tags or lens cleaner in it

Got mine in, really like it. Shoulda got one sooner. Pretty minimalistic but with some additional perks. Rides nicely like the prior gen models - better than other harnesses i've tried. Had/have the first couple kuiu revisions, 1st gen muley freak (awful), original FHF (didn't like the back open or the lack of side coverage), and the first gen Stone Glacier (not as comfortable as kuiu, harness rode up in the back).
