Pulled the trigger on a UL 50 cal with western ignition. Whats everyone’s pet bullet and substitute powder choice in these guns with the musket cap ignition?

Also thinking about getting the Williams peep sight for it.

I can’t remember what mine enjoyed shooting. I didn’t have it very long.

Whatever you do, don’t put it in a lead sled and fire it.

It seems to stack bullets at 50 yards. Vortex 1x scope, 80gr 777 3f, 250 gr magnum Barnes. It has an issue popping no 11s first time. Gonna switch to musket primers. You couldn’t give me another knight after trying to get though to customer service, if such thing exists there.

Thats odd I had a pretty decent experience with customer service about 2 years ago. Wasn't the best experience I've had but in this day and age it certainly wasn't the worst. Curious as to what happened?

No phone number, single point of contact email, no confirmation of receipt of email, ect ect. It’s a complete dog shit system they have in place. My ramrod jag also ripped out. No word on replacement yet

They appear to be essentially going out of business (again) - so no customer service isn’t surprising.
