All day sitters‐What keeps you in stand. For me:
  1. Change socks and shirt if its a long walk before climbing
  2. Minimal clothes for walk in
  3. Body suite below 20degrees
  4. Plenty of water
  5. Plenty of snacks
  6. 3 cans of Copenhagen minimum in case 1 drops, 1 drops and 1 gets emptied. I decide to stick half a can in. I always have enough.

I used to have a hard time making all day sits. Now I really enjoy it. Just plenty of water maybe some jerky and a couple pieces of fruit, I try to keep my snacks quiet as possible so no wrappers. I haven't had any Copenhagen in like 6 months. But even when I did I never needed it while on stand. Do you have a hard time staying hidden in the body suit?

Similar tips as yours, never had the need for a body suit but I always have multiple hand warmers with me.

I did the grinds pouches this year, get the kick from coffee.

Upgrading the seat or cushion really helped me.

Like Nick, if I get the chance I enjoy the opportunity now.

Light dinner…no booze…skip breakfast…no coffee after leaving the house/camp…

Yeah, 9am sounds much better.

Thermos of black coffee is a necessity for me. Couple sandwiches, tasty kakes(it's a PA thing) and jerkey.

Hard for me to eat a big breakfast super early in the morning so if I'm gonna sit all day a good lunch is a necessity with plenty of water and maybe some sweet tea. I want as comfortable a seat as possible. If hunting a treestand I'll bring my heated cushion if a blind I'll make sure to have a nice comfy chair already in place. A set of ear buds with a few audio books or podcast helps a ton when it's slow. I bet I listened to 50 hours of WW2 podcast this season.

How are those? saw then for the first time the other day.
I wouldn’t give up coffee for them on a daily basis but getting the taste and kick of it in the stand without the risk of side effects in the tree is nice! I would take them over a lot of the instant coffee I’ve had

fully charged phone, cell service, cell charger and a heater lol. I keep myself very busy on my phone to survive all day sits on a deer bait

You’re welcome.
