Kenetrek Mountain Guide Boots

I have seen a lot of posts about the Kenetrek Mountain Extreme boots, but none about the Mountain Guide boot. Are they too expensive at $500.00, or is there some other reason they are not as popular?

To sum it up they are basically extreme overkill for most hunters, less comfortable, and heavier than the Mtn Extremes, though they do offer more support and durability. If you'd like furher explanation let me know.
