Kansas Geese

I was recently able to head out to Kansas and hunt some geese with the gang from Veil camo. We had a great time hanging out for 4 days. We shot all different species of geese, but the hunting highlight of the trip for me was finally being able to get my first speck. I’ve wanted one of these beautiful birds for a while now and it all came together the first morning. We also had a good many ducks come in the first morning (Mallards, Teal, Wigeon, Pintails). It was a lot of fun

I took a collapsible cooler with me and brought the speck back, frozen as my carry-on. The lady sure looked at the x-ray as it came through for a long time. She even called over a guy to look and he started to laugh

Lots of birds in KS usually. I try and get up there a couple times a season and hunt with buddies. Nice hunts
