I had some thinking to do the other day and thought "Why not do it at Bass Pro?" Off I went. Wandered the store, looked for wife's Christmas present (she wants a kayak) and finally came to the boot section. Was surprised to see the Kennetrek Hardscrabble and Mountain Extremes there. Then came the fatal mistake.....clerk asked "Would you like to try a pair on?" Sure, how about the Mountain Extremes...... :hump: HOLY CRAP!! By far the most comfortable boots I have ever had on my feet. Dang it, now I have another thing to save $$$ for. Man I want those boots!!!

I pair of boots that fits and keeps your feet dry and warm are worth selling plasma for at the blood donor store.

C'mon man! Now you're hooked! I've he'd my mountain extremes for going on 6 years now and still just as awesome as when I got them. Granted they are in a second set of soles (I can't spell)

Thats what happened to me. I went in, thinking I was going to buy a pair of the Hardscrabbles--- made the mistake of trying the Mountain Extreme non insulated ones--- Ended up with those--- best boots I have ever worn! Have two seasons on them now and still feel like a dream.
