That would be great to see first-hand. Do they come back to the same lek each year or does it take awhile to find them every year? I've heard of this myth called retirement or semi-retirement, if it exists watching those birds would be a great experience.
 
I need to see a prairie Spring firsthand and see the sharpies and sage grouse on the leks. Well done on your camera work.
 
It's definitely lekking season. I got a FB memory today of a crappy video I took of Attwaters Prarie chickens lekking about five years ago. Sadly, those birds are on the brink of extinction.

Very nice videos of them, thanks. I've only seen that once in eastern MT, it was quite a show they gave me.
