Is parallax error a big deal while hunting?

I was looking at getting the Leupold VX-3i, but I dont think this scope has an adjustment for parallax error right? Is this a big deal? Is it even needed in a hunting situation (< 200 yards).

Thanks.

Add another for not worrying about it at 200. To add to proper a cheek weld try and get your natural point of aim as well.

The 30mm tubes in that line usually have parallax adjustment. Look at model 170702 and 170703

My understanding is that it only matters on small targets using high magnification, such as squirrels at 50 yds or PD's way out there. Should not be an issue on big game at normal ranges.

Most scopes without paralax adjustment are set for 100 yards.
Having said that i have had no issues hitting targets out to 600 yards.
Hunting distances (400 yards) will be no issue.
