Burned up 2 points for my tag in zone 4? COuldn't believe I didn't draw last year with 1 point. This will be my last year for Iowa, they must have hit their heads with a $424 whitetail tag. Oh jeez, you get a extra doe tag

I hear you about the $424. Mainly I am doing it to try IA and to hunt w/ my Dad who I haven't hunted with in 10 years. Don't know if I will go back, depends on the xperience I guess.

I lived there for 4 falls. It is fun, I never saw a ton of deer. But every year we did see some hogs. I shot a buck my first year that was 24 inches wide. Beginners luck, Hero to Zero, cause after that I passed up everything in the world and still never came close again. I am still a little excited, besides the sticker shock of the tag, cause I am also going with the old man.
