So I'm used to leaving early, running around all day , running home to grab some shorts, tun to Soccer, come home, then play with the kids, maybe do scouts, or basket ball, orr whatever...... But Thursday we were going on a 5 day float trip. Canceled all the soccer, all appointments, everything..... And now we're not going to go. So, tomorrow I get home, and have nothing to run off to. I'm not sure if I should be happy and do something productive like yard work, or sit around and watch a movie or TV or something.

What do you guys usualy do after work if your not running around ?!?! ?!?!?!

I guess I’m just a lazy turd, but I truly enjoy sitting around and doing nothing. Watching TV or (hunting) DVDs, playing around on the computer, reading. Basicly, doing nothing.

When my kid used to say he was bored, I'd tell him to turn his hat around, pull his pants up and get a job.

You need to get out of the burbs and move to the country. Always a ton of little projects to tackle if you have a little bit of dirt to play around on. That's why I live on a farm. I can't stand sitting on my nuts watching TV either. There's always something to do around here. It's "work, but it's "my work", so it doesn't seem bad. Cutting wood is one of my favorite farm chores.

And have'nt you ever heard of "Fishing". Sheesh .... this is prime fishing time.
Do they have morel mushrooms in your neck of the woods? Just starting to find them around here.

If I have an extra hour, I like to take the 3 year old to Sportsmans Warehouse and walk around letting him pretend he is shooting all the animals. He "shot" the elk at the zoo two weeks ago and all the bunny huggin moms looked at me like I was Satan himself. Needless to say it was a GREAT day.

d00d, im in the same boat :( Had a camping trip planned for this weekend.,.. weather ruined that.. now im sittin here.. feeling guilty that im not at work or working around the house.. gawd, I need help :(

The evening was good. It's kind of nice to have a gap in life :)

Steiny, trust me, I have pleanty of things I should have been doing or should be doing. I only have a 1/2 acre lot butthere is lots to do there and my home list is long as well. that being said, I was just wondering what other people do :)
