Idaho unit 39-43

Any good suggestions for these units. Be heading up there last two weeks of the season. Never been there done a lot of escouting. Thanks for an help

Those units hold some deer. PM me with specific questions you have. I think 39 has more deer and more hunters. Pros and cons.

The main challenge is getting away from hunters. Big bucks are usually hiding up high in elevation.

Glad to hear that. My partner and I drew the late season archery tag. We haven’t yet decided if we will be backing in or camping at the road and hiking in each day

Planning my hunts for this fall. Thinking about units 43, 48, 36 for mulies. The the areas that border along the crest of the 3 units have many trails that are motorcycle only. Looking for a partner or 3 with M/Cs for a week long hunt - Oct 10th opener. Not sure if any of my regular partners can make it. Huge area to hunt. Go to the Map above to check the possibles. Been on some of the trails in the area.
