I am considering doing a hunt in the Northern part of unit 27 in November. Letting much Just the goat creek area of the unit. Kayaking/hiking in. Has anyone done that area of the hunt? Any advise would be appreciated.
I don’t have any specific info for you but that should be a fun hunt. I’ll be curious what happens to that unit now that the non resident controlled hunt numbers were cut back so much
I'm not familiar with that specific area in 27. I've done a little floating around there. It can get very dicey in November. Tread carefully. The hunting can be good though.
