Idaho unit 1 black bear

I am here in Bonners Ferry, ID now hunting with a friend who has a moose tag. I bought an OTC bear tag. My question is where will I find the bears? After the snow that got dumped a fee days ago I haven't seen a single bear track in the snow. Will the bear be below the snow? That's what I'm thinking. Any help is appreciated.

Not in bonners but not far away. I’ve been working and haven’t been out since the snow. Even before the snow I saw several bears at lower elevations, even though there were still quite a few berries in the 4000’-5000’ zone. Keep moving you will find them, there’s no shortage.
