There seemed to be fewer birds this year.......They had a bad case of "lock-jaw" as well. However, we did manage to lower the boom on 2 nice gobblers.

You mean that those gobblers actually walk right up within range of those blind thingies like they show on TV...??....

Just spoofin' your ass... I know they do ,because I have friends that use them, but after hunting turkeys for over 30 years it never ceases to amaze me... :eek: ...

I do everything but dig a damn HOLE when I set up, and they still seem to spot me about half the time... :D ....

Pygmy, I've had birds within 2' of the blind several times...You know the drill, they work. Certainly they provide the finest opportunity for a young'n to hunt or to harvest a bird witha bow.

Schmalts, my old stand by box is a Quaker Boy Grand Old Master I bought in 1983...it has a bunch of notches on the bottom!
