Idaho hunting license question

The regulations say I have to have a valid combination license to apply for moose, but my question is does it still have to be valid at the time of the draw? I have a combination license that expires on 04/16/2019 that I used to apply last year. If I apply before my license expires will my application still be considered?

I believe all combo liscenses are good for the calendar year issued only. Mine is labeled with an issued date, and valid dates, in my case issued 3/28/19, valid 3/28/19 - 12/31/19.

Calendar year, if you bought your license on 4-16-18, then it expired at the turn of the new year. Have to get a 2019 license to apply.

Gotta buy a new license. Yours is expired. Utah is the only state I know you can get away with buying a license every other year.
