I forgot to check back on this thread, sorry!
I was at the license vendor at about 5 minutes to 10 that day. The A tags were sold out in the first 5 minutes after going on sale. The B tags lasted 18 minutes. I managed to get mine at the online only sale at 1.
I think a draw would make it a lot more fair. Especially if the tags go on sale when most people have to be at work.
